A concert celebrating diversity in society and classical music: for Cologne Pride, the WDR Sinfonieorchester takes a completely different look at music history and presents queer and non-queer musicians, singers and composers. The programme is hosted by acclaimed New York drag queen Sasha Velour, winner of RuPaul's Drag Race. The audience can expect a colourful celebration of classical music with works by Tchaikovsky, Saint-Saëns, Handel and Bernstein, featuring outstanding soloists such as pianist Jean-Yves Thibaudet and soprano Mayaan Licht.
